Working & Volunteering
  A Unique Wilderness Ranch Experience

Every summer, two types of opportunities become available for motivated, horse loving individuals to help at the Ranch, and learn a broad range of horsemanship, management, and people skills at the same time.

Ranch owner Anne Schuster will offer board and lodging for two to six week apprenticeship terms in return for training and participation in riding, horse herd management, basic horse training, horse packing, and guest hosting.  It's a hands-on opportunity to become proficient in these areas, for personal interest, or for future career path references.

If you're not a rider, but have people skills,.. and would love to be part of a ranch based operation anyway?...make sure to inquire!  There could be a special place
for you as a roving Ranch Manager's Assistant. A sliding scale of income is possible, depending on the balance of skills that are contributed and training required.
