Whether you choose an independent stay, or come from far away to be our guests, there are plenty activities to choose from.  Families and intrepid adventurers alike can spend time at the Ranch, in the Park, or in the local area.  Picnic and swim in farmer's markets and craft sales.  Explore antique shops or enjoy seasonal events staged by local interest groups and Parks Canada staff in the town site of Wasagaming and the village of Onanole.  Visit Raven Creek Honey Farm, and see how honey is extracted and beeswax candles are hand-dipped.  Concerts and local Festivals are common.  Take off for a round of golf on two local world class golf courses.. Depending on the time of your stay, events calendars are available to help plan your daily outings, using the Ranch as home base.

Park terrain is challenging and variable.  It changes from forest cover to open prairies, wetlands to boreal forest and shield geography.  Many trails we travel are elk and deer trails, unmarked, and leading into the backcountry.  We raise and train most of our horses in this type of terrain, familiarizing them early to the backcountry so they are willing and able to carry riders with confidence into the wilderness.  Choose the dayride, pack trip, or family wagon tours for this type of outdoor experience.

Families can enjoy the "Ranch House" wrap around deck space, quiet views, evening bonfires, horse shoe pits, children's play area.  Bicycles are available, with wooded walking trails available outside the door.  Single horse drawn wagon tours can be hitched for picnics and sunset tours.
